Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of Raoura (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The service
Raoura helps solo freelancers manage clients, proposals, contracts, invoices, projects, and a client portal. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Your account
You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for the content you create and the data you enter about your clients, including having the right to enter it.
Plans and billing
Raoura is offered as a flat monthly plan. If a free trial is offered, your paid subscription begins when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.
AI credits
Some features use AI to draft content for you. Each use spends one AI credit. Your plan includes a set number of credits each month; these reset monthly and do not roll over. You can also buy prepaid credit packs, which do not expire. A credit is consumed only when a generation succeeds.
Refunds
Because AI credits are a consumable digital good, a credit that has been used is not refundable: at that point we have already incurred the cost and delivered the result. With that in mind:
New subscriptions include a 14-day money-back period on your first payment. If you request a refund within 14 days, we will refund that payment, reduced by the value of any AI credits or other paid services you have already used. After 14 days, you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not refund partial months.
For prepaid credit packs, consumed credits are never refundable. Unused purchased credits may be refunded at our discretion on request. We always correct genuine billing errors, such as a duplicate charge.
Payments to you and your clients
Online payments from your clients are processed by Stripe and routed directly to your connected Stripe account. Raoura does not hold, escrow, or route your clients' funds. You are responsible for your tax obligations and for the goods and services you provide to your clients. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's terms.
Electronic signatures
The Service lets your clients accept proposals and sign contracts electronically and records an audit trail. The legal validity and enforceability of electronic signatures varies by jurisdiction and by document type. You are responsible for confirming that electronic signing is appropriate for your contracts and jurisdiction.
Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, upload malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content and data you put into Raoura. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and operate the Service for you (for example, storing your files and showing your branded pages to your clients).
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Raoura is not a law firm or an accountant, and nothing in the Service is legal, tax, or financial advice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Raoura is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
