Connect Stripe

Connect your own Stripe account once and your clients can pay invoices, deposits, and milestones online.

Connect it#

1. Go to Settings, then Payments.
2. Click Connect Stripe and follow the steps.
3. When it says connected, you are done: your clients can pay online.

How payments work#

• Clients pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, processed securely by Stripe.
• Money goes directly to your connected Stripe account. Stripe pays out to your bank on its normal schedule, and Raoura is never in the middle.
• Raoura takes no cut and never holds your funds. Standard Stripe card-processing fees apply, as they would anywhere.

What it unlocks#

• Invoices: clients can pay online from the invoice page or their portal.
• Proposal deposits: set a "Deposit on accept" and the client's button becomes "Accept & pay", so you get paid the moment they say yes.
• Milestones: clients can approve and pay each project milestone in turn.

If payment is not offered to your client#

Online payment only appears once Stripe is connected and its setup is finished. Check Settings, then Payments. Until then, clients can still accept proposals and view invoices; they just cannot pay online.
