Raoura vs 17hats
17hats and Raoura both sell one plan with everything on it. The difference is what everything means: 17hats includes scheduling, texting, bookkeeping and a deep automation builder for $60 a month. Raoura includes the five things a project freelancer sends every week for $17.
Disclosure. Raoura is our product. Read this the way you would read any vendor grading itself, and check 17hats's own pricing page rather than trusting either of us. 17hats's prices here were last checked in July 2026.

Where 17hats is better
We would rather you hear this from us than discover it after switching.
Automations
Workflows, triggers and if/then logic deep enough to run a studio hands-free. Raoura prepares the next document and sends reminders; it does not have a builder.
Scheduling
Built-in booking with Zoom links, group bookings and pay-at-booking. Raoura leaves scheduling to whatever you already use.
SMS texting
Two-way client texting, booking reminders and past-due nudges, as a paid add-on in the US and Canada. Raoura has none.
Full bookkeeping
P&L, sales tax reports, aged receivables and bank sync. Raoura tracks expenses and shows profit, but it is not a bookkeeping tool.
Track record
Eleven years of shipping and strong review scores, with support reviewers describe as answering within minutes. Raoura is new and has to earn that.
Where Raoura is better
Less than a third of the price, every year
$204 against $600 on annual billing, and 17hats' first-year promo only moves year one. Over three years the gap is $1,188.
Nothing to learn
17hats' breadth is also its setup burden, and reviews say so. Raoura is five things, each ready on day one.
Milestone billing built in
Fixed-price projects broken into stages the client approves and pays, with deliverables that unlock on payment. 17hats is built around appointments, not staged projects.
White label on your own domain
The portal lives at portal.yourstudio.com with your logo, colors and fonts, included at $17.
Who should pick which
Pick 17hats if
- Your business runs on appointments, sessions and bookings rather than open-ended projects
- You want leads captured, auto-responded, scheduled and reminded without touching anything

- You want bookkeeping in the same tool as your invoices, and $60 a month clears your bar
Pick Raoura if
- You bill fixed-price projects with deposits, payment plans or milestones
- You want proposals, contracts, invoices, projects and a portal on one $17 plan
- You want setup measured in hours, not days
- You would rather have five features you use daily than fifteen you audit quarterly

The long version
Try it on your next real proposal
Fourteen days, no card, nothing to cancel. Send one proposal, take one deposit into your own Stripe account, and decide with a real client instead of a feature table. $17 a month after that, flat.
