Raoura vs Plutio (2026): the 9-Client Cap and the White-Label Add-On

Plutio Core costs $19 a month, allows 9 active clients, and does not include white labeling. Raoura costs $17 a month, has no client cap, and includes white labeling on its only plan. Those two sentences are the whole comparison for most solo freelancers.

The rest of this page is the part vendor comparisons usually skip: Plutio Core has meaningfully more product in it than Raoura does at a similar price, and there are freelancers who should buy it instead. Prices verified against plutio.com/pricing on 22 July 2026.

Disclosure: Raoura is our product. Read our claims the way you would read any vendor grading itself, and check the linked pricing pages rather than trusting either of us.

What Plutio actually costs#

Plutio has three plans: Core at $19, Pro at $49, and Max at $199 per month, falling to roughly $15, $39 and $159 on annual billing (two months free).

PlanMonthlyAnnualActive clientsContributorsWhite label
Core$19~$159None, solo onlyPaid add-on
Pro$49~$39Unlimited30 includedPaid add-on
Max$199~$159UnlimitedUnlimitedIncluded

Every plan carries the same core feature set: projects, invoices, proposals, contracts, time tracking, scheduling, forms, client portal, task boards, and file storage. Plans differ on scale and on two extras, white labeling and SSO. There is a 7-day trial with no card required, and Plutio takes no cut of your invoice payments, which is the right side of the argument we made in why your client tool should never touch your money.

The 9-client cap, in Plutio's own words#

Core allows 9 active clients at a time, where "active" means any client you have invited who has not been archived.

Plutio's pricing FAQ is unusually clear about this, and credit to them for it: you can create unlimited client profiles on every plan, the limit is on how many are active simultaneously, and archiving a finished client frees a slot.

Whether that bites depends on how you work. A designer running four or five concurrent projects will never notice it. A copywriter with a dozen retainer clients who each send work sporadically will hit it constantly, and will be archiving and unarchiving clients as an admin chore. The next plan up is Pro at $49, which is a 158% price increase to remove a cap rather than to gain features you asked for.

Raoura has no client cap on its only plan. That is a genuine difference, not a positioning trick.

The white-label add-on#

White labeling is a paid add-on on both Core and Pro, and is only included at Max ($199/month).

This sits a little awkwardly against the promise higher up the same pricing page: "There's no feature gating where you pay more to unlock basic functionality." To be fair to Plutio, they list the add-on plainly rather than hiding it, and they class it as optional rather than core. But if the reason you are buying a client portal is to put your own name on it, it is not optional to you.

Plutio does not publish the add-on price on the pricing page, so we cannot tell you what white labeling actually costs on Core. Ask before you buy. Any answer is fine; not being able to find it is the problem.

Raoura includes branding on the only plan, because there is no other plan to upsell you to.

Where Plutio is the better buy#

Plutio Core at $19 contains more software than Raoura at $17, and if you need any of it, buy Plutio.

Three things Plutio has that we do not, at all:

Scheduling. Clients book against your calendar with availability rules and buffer times. We have nothing equivalent; you would keep paying for Calendly.

Form building. Raoura has a branded inquiry form and a discovery questionnaire, both embeddable, but not a general-purpose form and survey builder.

Task management with Kanban boards, calendars, Gantt charts and dependencies. Raoura organises work as milestones on a project, which is deliberately simpler and genuinely less capable.

Add the team path. Pro at $49 includes 30 contributors, which is a lot of collaboration for the money, and Raoura cannot add a second person at any price. If there is any chance you will hire, Plutio scales and we do not.

Where Raoura is the better buy#

If you are one person who wants no client cap and your own branding at the entry price, the comparison is $17 against $19 plus an unpublished add-on fee.

The client cap is the first reason. Nine active clients is fine until it is not, and discovering the limit mid-year is the expensive kind of surprise.

Branding is the second. Ours is included at $17. Plutio's is an add-on on Core and Pro, included only at $199.

The third is narrower and more honest: Raoura does less on purpose. Proposals, contracts, invoicing with deposits and milestone payments, projects, and a branded portal. If the four Plutio features listed above are things you would never open, paying for them buys you a busier interface. If even one of them is something you would use weekly, that argument collapses and you should buy Plutio.

Trials and what happens after#

Plutio runs a 7-day trial; Raoura runs 14 days. Neither asks for a card.

Plutio's post-trial behaviour is worth knowing and is better than most: if you do not subscribe, the account moves to a limited state where you can still log in and export everything, but cannot create new projects or send new invoices. Your data is not held hostage.

That matters more than it sounds. We wrote the Fiverr Workspace shutdown guide after users got roughly a month to export before their data went dark. A vendor that documents the exit is telling you something good.

Frequently asked questions

How much is Plutio?

$19/month for Core, $49 for Pro, and $199 for Max, or roughly $15, $39 and $159 on annual billing. Verified 22 July 2026.

What is Plutio's client limit?

Core allows 9 active clients at once. Pro and Max are unlimited. Archived clients do not count, and you can store unlimited client profiles on any plan.

Does Plutio include white labeling?

Only on Max at $199/month. On Core and Pro it is a paid add-on whose price is not published on the pricing page.

Does Plutio charge transaction fees?

No. Plutio takes no cut of invoice payments; you pay your processor's standard rates. Raoura is the same.

Is Plutio better than Raoura?

For features per dollar at the entry tier, yes, Plutio Core includes time tracking, scheduling, forms and task boards that we do not have. Raoura wins on two specific things: no client cap and branding included at $17. Pick on which of those matters to your week.

Can I use Plutio with a team?

Yes, from the Pro plan, which includes 30 contributors at $49/month. Raoura is solo-only and cannot add a second person, so a growing team should choose Plutio.
